The Supreme Court Has Given All Corporations a Gift That They May Live To Regret

When the Catholic conservatives on the High Court ruled that Hobby Lobby Incorporated and the Green family are one in the same due to "its" religion, they effectively tore away the corporate veil making owner(s), shareholders, employees and CEOs personably liable for anything the corporation does.

I'm recovering from a bad cold, so I'm behind in reading... but I went back over this: "When the Catholic conservatives on the High Court ruled that Hobby Lobby Incorporated and the Green family are one in the same due to “its” religion, they effectively tore away the corporate veil making owner(s), shareholders, employees and CEOs personably liable for anything the corporation does." I sincerely hope this is true. There are far too many corporations whom we've not been able to hold accountable to any of the corp's actions, but could now if this is accurate. But if law professors have been begging them to take this POS legislation back, that certainly says something. And here I've been pissed off at the insanely synchronized misogynist talking points about sluts being able to get condoms elsewhere. But this may be a bigger victory. And the other corporations may burn Hobby Lobby down for us! #x
