Do People Only Use 10 Percent of Their Brains?

http://ift.tt/1mA40Vt

What's the matter with only exploiting a portion of our gray matter?

I enjoyed the movie, but I went in knowing it was hogwash. It's been known for a long time. It's actually quite retro-sensible. It's as though we evolved a brain that can destroy the universe long before we learned to use it. You don't evolve something before you use it. You evolve something as you use it. "Although it's true that at any given moment all of the brain's regions are not concurrently firing, brain researchers using imaging technology have shown that, like the body's muscles, most are continually active over a 24-hour period." But I understand the confusion given how many Teabaggers I've met. #b
