Hobby Lobby Is Only The Second Most Important Decision The Supreme Court Will Hand Down On Monday

On Monday, the Supreme Court is expected to hand down two cases, Hobby Lobby and a lesser-known case called Harris v. Quinn. Of the two, much more is at stake in Harris than in Hobby Lobby.

I didn't quite put it like this in my own mind, but Hobby Lobby's push is perfectly worded here: "Hobby Lobby is a major case, with tremendous implications for whether religious conservatives must obey the same rules that apply to the rest of society." And in the same way, Harris wants non-contributors to the Union to have the same benefits as those who did unionize. Seems to me all those accusations of entitlement mentalities and demands for special rights have come entirely from one side... and that would be the rightwing. #x
